nitrothermspray

Pentris s.r.l. has developed a specific Know-how for the use of nitrogen enriched air in painting process. The technology fits any kind of process: pneumatic, electrostatic and rotary bells both for liquid painting and powder coating. Nitrogen is produced onsite using the main line compressed air as source. We can optimize your process through the evaluation of standard production parameters and settings reprogramming.
Being the world leader in environmental friendly painting process and helping you make your process efficient and green with low costs and high quality surfaces
From painting machinery to software for process optimization we can improve customer’s operativity guaranteeing financial, environmental and timing savings. On top, what our customers mostly end up appreciating is the evident higher quality of their products. Regardless of the type of application or technology involved, wherever compressed air is used we can optimize customer’s process. Over the past ten these years Pentris has installed its technologies from the small body shop to big automotive companies, applying to different sectors and materials, from wood to plastic, aluminium profiles, leather etc.
Our system decreases working air pressure up to 40%, due to the high velocity spray pattern of nitrogen as a carrier. This reduces overspray and creates up to 30% savings in paint consumption
Elimination of waiting time and application time reduction in spray painting, increased line speed and quicker color change in powder coating are just some of the features that guarantee an overall time saving
Improved working conditions with cleaner booths, substantial reduction of solvent use, hence VOC emissions, guarantee an environmental friendly painting process and environmental certificate access
Removal of surface moisture, reduction of orange peel and painting defects and coating failures, improvement of colour matching , total control of delivery and overall increased transfer efficency
COVERED BY INTERNATIONAL PATENT
Through production of nitrogen on site these technologies shows improvements, among others, in terms of transfer efficiency, reduction of over spray, reduction of thinner used and of VOC emissions. Our products fit both, liquid painting and powder coating. The implementation of the technology is discreet and the installation quick. Through a connection to the main line compressed air the machine it’s ready to work. Our latest product monitors the paint process by a spray pattern study carried out directly on site by an instrument and its cloud software. Helping set the correct parameters and detecting possible errors in application it guaranties less scrap parts and application quality control
During the first visit the technology is presented in detail and so is its suitability to your own specific process. Based on this evaluation it is possible to send an indicative offer to chose the tipe of unit and predict your savings in order to calculate ROI.
Based on step 1 a trial can be scheduled if needed. The machine is delivered to your facilities and our technicians take care of installation. Trial installation is standardly carried out leaving the option to switch from compressed air to nitrogen and viceversa, this way the unit can be used just for trial parts without causing delays in production e.g during waiting for measurments and qualitative evaluation.
To have information for evaluation and comparison, data of application with compressed air (including thickness and quality measurement) are always collected at first. With the chosen set up comparison we go through spray tests to see differences in applications and have background for parameters optimization. This part of trial can take from 1 to 30 days and it's decided during first visit.
A report for evaluation will follow the trial phase. The detailed report includes photos, videos and a step by step progress evaluation by quality comparison means. The results are presented and examined with the customer who will at that point be able to have an accurate idea of investment and its Return.
